Robert

Experience: Mr. Sharp
entered the Insurance industry in 1972 as a claim adjuster for Shelter Insurance Company. Shelter Insurance Company is a
well-established insurance company writing over $1 billion in insurance in the midwestern states. During the course of Mr.
Sharp’s career he has handled various types of claims including auto, homeowners, light commercial, farmowners and warranty
products. Mr. Sharp ended his career as President and CEO and also held positions of Executive Vice President, Senior Vice
President and Senior Vice President of Claims.
Mr. Sharp has over 32 years experience in insurance management and multi-line
claim handling arena. In Los Angeles he held the position as president and CEO for Workmen’s Insurance Group, from 1997 to
2004. In addition, he has held management positions of Vice President of Claims, Senior Vice President and Executive Vice
President. He also held the positions of Assistant Vice President/Regional Claim Manager for J.C. Penney Casualty Insurance
Company and Vice President of claims for Columbia Mutual Insurance Group.
Mr. Sharp’s experience includes management
of all aspects of insurance related issues and claim handling, with an emphasis on methods and procedures, including internal
controls, as well as establishing clearly defined claims protocol.
In addition, he is well versed in the IT arena,
specifically in regards to automated claim handling functions, as well as automated underwriting functions in a paper free/
imaged environment. He successfully completed a Y2K conversion for Workmen’s Insurance group. Established EFT Interface
and uploading / downloading of insurance data.
Education: B.A. Degree in Business, from the University of Northern
Iowa with an emphasis on finance and accounting.

Served as an instructor for
Shelter Insurance Trainee School in Columbia, Missouri.
Served as an instructor and Chairman for P.L.R.B. (Property
Loss Research Bureau), Chicago, Illinois. Was an instructor for P.L.R.B. as well as chairman for claim educational groups,
further educating claim management and adjusters.
Served as an instructor and speaker at numerous seminars for NAMIC.
(National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies). Also served as Chairman for claim educational committee.
Served
on the national legislative committee and national law review committee for N.A.I.I. (National Association of Independent
Insurers), currently named PCI (Property Casualty Insurance Institute).
Conducted numerous seminars for both NAMIC
and PLRB, as guest speaker on various claim topics including proper claim investigation, arson detection and unfair claim
practice requirements. In addition, proper claim investigation documentation and file content.
Mr. Sharp has also
been a guest speaker for the Los Angeles claim association as well as other numerous claim associations in various cities
throughout the United States.
Served on the National and International Association of Arson Investigators. Guest speaker
at numerous seminars across the country for this organization.

SUMMARY:
For 32 years, Mr. Sharp has testified over 33 times in numerous insurance
related issues for the insurance carrier. He has testified in the capacity of an adjuster, as well as upper level management,
including President, CEO and Vice President of claim. During his career he completed numerous depositions in over 25 states
from California, to the Midwest and Florida. He has testified twice in Federal Court, once was designated as an expert witness
in regards to an arson property claim. As a result of the various positions Mr. Sharp has held (throughout his 32 year career),
he is well versed in claims, particularly in regards to policy and procedures as required by the unfair claim practice statutes.
He is also well versed in underwriting, operations and marketing controls, particularly in the area of proper procedures
and controls as acceptable standards for an insurance operation.
